DayStar Apparel strives to manufacture the highest quality American made apparel we possibly can. The majority of our raw materials are made right here in the USA. This commitment to keeping our supply chain on American soil helps us also ensure the safety of our products.

By using American made raw materials, we are helping to ensure the most reliable and safe products in the marketplace. We rely heavily upon our raw material manufacturers to also do their part and make sure all items shipping to DayStar meet all safety laws and regulations.

There are numerous laws enacted to help keep consumers safe.  CPSIA is one of these laws that is specifically directed at the safety of children.  We feel the same way, producing aprons and apparel that are both durable and safe is very important to us. This section contains useful information for adherence to CPSIA as well as other notable compliance information.

Certain raw materials may be exempt from testing and are also noted.

PFAS/PFOS and related chemicals: DayStar does not purchase raw materials containing banned substances. We enjoy working with our American made vendors as they are kept to stricter guidelines that many other countries.

CPSIA Section 108 > Pass >> CPSIA regulated phthalates (side note: American made twill fabric by nature does not contain phthalates)
